Philipe Starck’s city bike for Bordeux, France.

Innovative design or just a load of superficial dross? Personally, I pick the latter.

For starters, as a product designer, I don’t quite understand how a designer of Starck’s stature produces such a dull, basic render to impress his clients/public. Also, the pedals look way too inline with the seat that I can imagine it being extremely uncomfortable to ride. The foot pedal and the robust frame are the positives for me as it fits in well with public use, but apart from that, I really feel it needs a lot more work.

But, of course, I’m not Philipe Starck, and I’m sure his name alongside this bike alone will make this a success.
